About Formless
Formless inverts the usual arrangement. Rather than building a fixed sequence of questions, you describe what you are trying to find out, and an AI conducts the conversation — asking follow-ups that depend on what the respondent just said, in a way a branching tree cannot reproduce.
When that works it collects things a form would have missed, because the interesting answer is usually the one nobody thought to make a field for. The mechanism is a conversation rather than a page, so there is no layout to design and the interaction is the product. It is made by the company behind one of the better-known conversational form tools, and its help documentation and changelog sit on that company's own domains.
The cost is predictability and price. An AI-led interview will not ask two people the same thing, which makes the results harder to tabulate than a fixed questionnaire. The paid plan starts at fifty-nine dollars a month for two hundred and fifty conversations, on a slider that rises with volume, and anything past the top step is a quote.
